What is the damper or gas diverter valve?

The damper or gas diverter valve is located at the boiler inlet, and controls the entry of hot gases into the cogeneration boiler, in order to be able to adjust the heat necessary to modulate the boiler's power and divert the gases if necessary.

The valve can be opened or closed in on/off mode or its opening can be modulated.

A gas diverter valve can withstand high temperatures (900 ºC) and it facilitates maintenance and lengthens the working life of the boiler in which it is installed.

ATTSU manufactures and installs these valves, especially on larger models of industrial steam boilers for cogeneration.
