According to Directive 92/42/EEC on the minimum on efficiency requirements for new hot-water boilers fired with liquid or gaseous fuels, the energy efficiency of boilers that are commissioned in Europe must be guaranteed.
To that end, ATTSU and other manufacturers must meet a number of requirements to ensure high performance levels in the operation of their boilers. Compliance with these legal requirements means that ATTSU's industrial steam boilers are eligible for the CE marking that certifies their official approval for installation in any country in the European Union.
The efficiency is calculated by the direct method, which takes into account the fluid circulating in comparison with the calorific value of the fuel used (LCV-lower calorific value measured in units of kJ/kg)
