Applications

Pharmaceutical industry

The steam from our ATTSU boilers is applied in the pharmaceutical industry in various drug production and preparation processes. These include both heating and sterilization procedures, as well as drying and cleaning.

The ATTSU steam boilers most frequently used for these treatments are the RL and H three-pass fire-tube boilers, and the BV, which recovers heat from exhaust gases from engines, incineration furnaces and cogeneration turbines.

In addition to these three models, ATTSU offers its clients a steam boiler built entirely in stainless steel, which is very useful for the pharmaceutical sector. This model is the VL-Inox, which generates clean steam using industrial steam as a heat source.

The use of clean steam, which differs from other industrial steam because it does not contain ions or traces of chemical products from heated water, is essential in a wide range of processes in the preparation of drugs. It is generated from osmosis water.

When the level of quality of the clean steam is at its highest, it is called pure steam - a type of steam that is only used in the pharmaceutical industry and which meets the most demanding sterilisation requirements.

ATTSU's VL-Inox boiler is certified by the European Directive 2014/68/EU. It can also be made to order according to the DNV, EAC, DOSH, JIS, ASME, BS and other standards.

Recommended products

Our steam boilers more frequently chosen by our customers from this industry are the following:

HH

Natural gas, LPG, Light oil, Heavy oil & Biogas

The H boiler is a steam boiler that is horizontal, fire-tube with three passes and steam chamber. The chamber is completely cooled by boiler water.

RL

Natural gas, LPG, Light oil, Heavy oil & Biogas

Three passes horizontal fire-tube with reverse flame steam boiler. The chamber is completely cooled by boiler water.

BV

Cogeneration and heat recovery

ATTSU BV is a steam boiler designed to recover the heat from engine or turbine exhaust at cogeneration facilities.
